    David did not create the Xeno from Alien. He simply replicate or created a similar Alien, as the original was in the derelict for hundreds of years. Also in Prometheus there was a mural with aliens.

  • @jeffreysmith694

    The beauty of Alien was until the scene where Lambert is killed by the Alien we really don't know his size or what he actually looks like. All we get are close ups and quick shots of Xenomorph. Just rewatched Alien for the hundredth time or so to get the bad taste of Romulus out and the differences are too numerous to mention. From the dialog and actors to just the pacing it's comparing a filet mignon to a Big Mac when looking at Alien and Romulus. The score is incredible and the sound design on Alien is what imo truly makes it scary. I'm done with the Alien franchise as I am with Star Wars, Star Trek, Dr Who and LOTR. Alien hasn't gone woke like the rest but the Mary Sue sprite in the lead of Romulus is a little girl compared to Ripley although they are only a couple years apart in actual age when both movies were made.One is an adult female and the other still resembles a child. Giving up on Alien in the future kinda hurts. I saw the original in 1979 with my Mom when I was 12 and it scared us to death. The chestburster scene was too intense for me really. I even remember be scared by the trailer which was just an egg cracking open with it lit up from behind and the iconic Alien sound. I have liked most of the Alien movies and could deal with their many shortcomings but by and large they were actual movies. Romulus never felt like a movie but a soulless corporate collection of the greatest hits and dialog from all the other Alien movies. The real question is what will they be able to steal from this movie for the future soulless creations. What's really depressing is how much money this is making and the future movies that will come from it. The only movie I will rate below this is AVP Requiem which was just dogshit.

      Yeah I'm with ya brother. My first Alien experience was a bootleg recording of Alien 3 that my dad recorded of the TV around 1997. I was seven or eight years old, way too young to watch stuff like that, but the Alien fascinated me. Soon after that, I got the original Alien on VHS, and it has been one of my favorite movies ever since. The Alien franchise has been dead since 1993 in my opinion, even if I do kind of like Alien resurrection. Everything after that has been more or less garbage, but Alien Romulus stung even worse because it really felt like this was gonna be a return to form. Instead, it was one of the worst movies of the year. Thank you for watching and commenting.

    It's a non movie movie. Just a member berries copy and paste greatest hits collection. The opening scenes and the talk of the miners getting sick gave me a Outland feel which I really liked. Hated the gen z cast except for the only interesting character Andy. The one guy spoke in such a thick accent I couldn't understand a word he said. I just hated the stolen lines and scenes from all the other Alien movies but there was so much that made no sense. I watched EFAP do a breakdown on Romulus and they picked it to the bone. I don't get the arguments in this video. Most of them are not even about the deadpool movies, it's just hating on Ryan Reynolds. I believe that Ryan Reynolds is doing a good job with the Deadpool character. It's that excessive sarcastic humour, I get that some people such as yourself might be annoyed by it... but that's the deadpool character. Don't agree with "Ryan Reynolds ruined Deadpool", I think you just might not like Deadpool character in itself, don't think it's a good argument for the title though. I would encourage you to take a look at the movie Blade Trinity from 2004, this came out 6 years before Wolverine Origins where he played a version of Deadpool for the first time. In this movie he's playing a character that has the same comedy style as Deadpool and this is just to show you that he's personality has kinda always been deadpoolish, or at least he shines brighter with this kind of comedy, he's good with it.

    For someone to even have this take is just shocking since you have to somehow forget the whole theme of the movie, which is second chances. They're there because this is the sendoff to the fox marvel movies, there's no plans yet for phase 6 that have all these characters coming back, original blade, original elektra, the original x-men characters, so most likely they're going to reimagine the x-men in the next phase. Heck, they even spelled it out for us in the movie. Elektra: Im sick of this shit, Im sick of hiding, let's face it our world forgot about us Gambit: Or never learned about us. Elektra: The heroes we were... Blade: The lives we saved. Gambit: Or wanted to save... Elektra: Maybe these two are a chance to be remembered the way we deserve. An ending. Blade: Legacy. Personally I wasn't cheering because they were the characters I didn't particularly like in movies I never particularly liked, I was just cheering glad that they have one more chance to essentially redeem themselves one last time, for the fun of it. Maybe their addition doesn't even redeem them, but it's just fun to revisit these characters and bring their spotlight back, when they were essentially forgotten or just had a bad taste in everybody's mouth because of the bad quality of their movies, much like how they ended up in dp3, in the void.

    Good things Halloween Kills explained it. As I always felt that major plothole weakened the ending of Halloween 1978 & the character of Michael Myers, still to this day when I take Kills out of the picture, the 2018 opening scenes in the Sanitarium does not resonate well with me. I have to keep reminding myself that atleast Kills gave a somewhat good sensible explanation as how we got to the Sanitarium in 2018.

    • @Pleasedontmakeascene
      @Pleasedontmakeascene 24 дні тому

      I honestly think the 1978 ending is perfect in its own. That he mysteriously just disappears makes it much more scary. Was he just a man or was he, like Dr Loomis says, pure evil, evil personified?

    • @thehalloweenheavymetalmusicwar
      @thehalloweenheavymetalmusicwar 24 дні тому

      @@Pleasedontmakeascene Indeed! For reasons when I first watched Halloween 2018 in theaters, I was a little offended & confused by it's opening on how much it undoes what John Carpenter did so beautifully with his 1978 ending. This is why I prefer Halloween ll, despite of it also undoing the mysterious ending of Carpenter's 1978 film, it atleast did it in a more believable way. But overall yes you are right, Halloween 1978 is way better & scarier without a sequel with that twilight & hitchcockey ending as originally intended by John Carpenter himself.

    • @Pleasedontmakeascene
      @Pleasedontmakeascene 24 дні тому

      @thehalloweenheavymetalmusicwar Hell yeah. I enjoyed Halloween 2018, but I thought Halloween kills was really bad. Halloween ends tried to do something different and interesting, but it didn't hold up all the way in my opinion. As much as I enjoy some of the sequels (Halloween 3 and four are pretty fun) I really think the original is the only great one. On its own, it is a dang masterpiece

    • @thehalloweenheavymetalmusicwar
      @thehalloweenheavymetalmusicwar 24 дні тому

      @@Pleasedontmakeascene Honestly, for me Halloween 2018 was ok, so was Halloween Kills, as both had enjoyable stuff to them, now Halloween Ends for me was a total abomination and still is to this day, I still to this day cannot swallow the fact Michael Myers being weak, taking orders from Corey Cunningham to show him how to kill and yelling at him to get up and Michael listens to him, plus pushes Michael and takes off his mask very easily, when saw that I was like what??? You gotta be sh*tting me! All that was so so out of character for Michael Myers I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it in the theater with my girlfriend, even she couldn't believe what she was seeing. On top of that Laurie Strode, Allyson Strode, and Lindsey Wallace going about their days like the last 4 years never happened really didn't do it for me. So yeah Halloween Ends is the very bottom for me along with Resurrection, which Resurrection is another abomination I can't swallow still to this day.

Though at first I didn't like it because of no Myers, but when I did my research and started getting into the franchise more and more, I realized it was an anthology movie and it had no connections to the first 2 movies, so as the years gone by and watched it, it started to grow rapidly on me and still to this day I love Halloween lll Season of the Witch, actor Tom Atkins really nails it with his performance as Doctor Daniel Chalice.

    The comedy and styles of different characters is actually different, they have similarities, especially in delivery, since it’s Reynolds’s style. Also the idea that having product placement from their own companies is some sin is insane. It likely makes getting sponsorships less of an ordeal “hmm we need some alcohol for a scene, whose brand will it be? Oh let’s just use some of a company that our lead actor owns, that way we may not have to pay as much” it’s just smart.

    What’s really terrifying about this film is if aliens watched us this is exactly what they would think would make us happy/fulfilled !!

    This movie is a patchwork quilt of other movies and stolen ideas. I.e. Creature from the Black Lagoon, Hellboy and first an foremost the work of Jean-Pierre Jeunet (The city of lost children and the bath scene from Delikatessen). And a plot with a alyways horny and masturbating cleaning women who has free roam to connect with fish man for a bit of sardine romance, come on. And of course, she turns out to be a gilly creature as well. Who would have known?

    Keanu Reeves is a canadian actor, a nice man, love that his characters are depictions of what happens when a nice person... ...stops saying "sorry"
